Due to the fragile nature of paper, there are NO refunds on papers, books, magazines, dated products (such as calendars/planners) and writing instruments (that have been used, unless the pen is faulty by manufacturer).
In addition to the above, discounted items and cut ribbon will be final sale.
All other items will be accepted for refund for 30 days with receipts. Products must be in resalable condition, in original packaging, unused and in the same condition that you received them, to be accepted for refund.
If 30 days have past since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Seasonal items after season end (eg. Christmas ornaments, Easter giftware)
- Downloadable products
- Exchanges (if applicable)
WORKSHOP REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Payment is required upon registration for all workshops to guarantee a space.
Soul Paper understands that personal schedules change and that despite your best intentions you may not be able to attend a workshop that you have registered for.
If you cannot attend the workshop that you have paid for in full, you may select a delegate to attend in your place.
However, if a substitute cannot be found, Soul Paper will accept cancellations and issue refunds following the boundaries below:
- No refunds will be given in the 7 days prior to the workshop.
- No refunds will be given if the registration holder is a "no-show" to the workshop.
- No refunds will be provided “after” an attended workshop.
- If Soul Paper cancels a workshop for any reason, all registration fees will be fully refunded.
- Soul Paper does not manage a "wait list" for workshops/classes.
- Our workshops are for Adults unless otherwise noted.
ONLINE

Our every effort has been made to provide the most accurate online image of each product, however, due to the variation in computer monitors and settings, the actual colours/textures may indeed vary from what you see on your screen. If you have concerns, we suggest contacting us at orders@soulpaper.ca before placing a order.
All other products may be returned within 14 days of receipt of order, in the original packaging/condition.
TERMS/CONDITIONS
Condition of Returned Items:
Items returned not in original condition and/or without original packaging or damaged packaging will not be eligible for a refund. We reserve all rights to refuse full or partial refunds on items returned altered or damaged in any way.
Refunds on Shipping Charges:
If your return is due to an error on the part of Soul Paper we will refund you for the shipping costs applied to your original order. If the return is for any other reason, the shipping charges will not be included in your refund.
Shipping your Return:
100% of the responsibility for Return shipping is that of the buyer. Our recommendation is that you ship your parcel/package with a carrier that offers tracking and insurance when returning your order. Soul Paper will not be liable to process any returns or refunds should your package be lost or damaged during return shipping.
Reporting Discrepancies or Shortages:
Quality control is key at Soul Paper and as such, your order is checked before it is shipped. However, in the rare event that there is a discrepancy or shortage, please notify us within 3 business days of receiving your order and we will gladly ship the missing/corrected items at our cost or offer you a refund on those items.
Reporting Damage:
Occasionally a package may be damaged on its way to you. Please open and inspect your parcel as soon as it is received. Soul Paper is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping.
In the case of damage, please notify the carrier immediately, and Us (Soul Paper) so that we may support your claim. We will work with you and the carrier, to the best of our ability to correct the situation and make sure you receive replacements or a refund for the damaged items.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Winter (including Cold Climate) Shipping: As we are located in Central/Northern Canada, Soul Paper is not liable/responsible for any products damaged or destroyed during winter & cold season shipping periods. This primarily pertains to the shipment of inks between Fall (October 1st) to Spring (May 1st). During this colder period, we will increase our packaging to prevent leakage of liquids as best as possible. We however cannot guarantee how packages are handled or kept warm during shipping, over night storage or if they will be heated or kept warm. Therefore ALL Winter shipments will be at the risk of the purchaser. We will also automatically select your closest post office for pickup and NOT "door drop" during this time.**
**Due to these risks and our care for quality and shipping safety, we are not currently shipping inks outside of Canada. Thank you for your understanding and support!
