The Blackwing Volume 4 pencil is a tribute to our 4th planet, Mars. It also recognizes the Mars 2020 rover mission by NASA's Mars Exploration Program that includes the Perseverance rover. It is planned to launch on 20 July 2020 at 13:15 UTC, and touch down in Jezero crater on Mars on 18 February 2021
This pencil features a rust-colored lacquer and sand-textured finish inspired by the surface of the fourth planet. It also features the first ever dune bronze ferrule, a cream imprint and eraser, and our soft graphite.
