Alcohol Ink Beginnings Workshop
Mixed Media Workshop Series
Our series of workshops are crafted to give you the confidence to experiment with various mixed media techniques, while building a reference fan deck for future projects.
MM Workshop One - Alcohol Ink Beginnings
For first time users and those looking to learn new methods, this 3 hour session will introduce you to creating blooms, blends, mark-making and layering techniques using alcohol inks.
This hands on workshop is a glimpse into the world of alcohol inks. This is a techniques class where you will be creating a 7 tag sampler set using a variety of methods such as pouncing, colouring metal, marbling, fading layers, resist stamping and splatters. We will also guide you through manipulating the inks using stencils, painting and even moving the medium using straws and gravity. You will be addicted to the process (don't say we didn't warn you) as the effects, experience and outcome is endless.
It is advised that you wear clothes that can get messy, and bring a smock if you have one.
